The Pirastro Chorda is an authentic viola string for baroque instruments with a very low string tension. Set consists of gut strings, of which the G and C string are wrapped with copper or silver plated (newer versions) wire with a knot end. The strings are available in medium string tension (PM) and on special request in the soft and strong version (delivery time 4-6 weeks):

• A string: PM 14 1/2;
• D string: PM 19 1/2;
• G string: PM 16 1/2;
• C string: PM 22 1/2;
• A and D-strings are fitted with a ball and the G- and C-string with a knot.
