Chromcor viola strings from Pirastro have a solid steel core and are wound with chrome steel, and therefore last a very long time. The A and D strings have a clear sound, while the G and C strings have a more rounded and brilliant sound. All strings respond easily and are easy to tune. Good strings for the beginning and advanced cellist. Available in sizes 1/2 (12-13"), 3/4 (14-15") and 4/4 (16").

The A string is also available as a Plus version, where the string sounds a bit darker.

• All strings have a ball, except the A-strings which have a removable ball (=loop).
