For € 2 to € 7 per month your rental instrument is insured against damage and you pay nothing extra for maintenance. The package is optional: you choose it with your request and it runs alongside the rental.

What the package covers
- Accidental damage: a fall, a knock, a broken bow or a crack
- String replacement, up to two a year; fit them yourself or have them fitted in the shop
- Rehairing the bow, once a year, with a loan bow in the meantime
- Periodic maintenance of the instrument

- Loss and theft
- More than two strings and one bow per year
Without the package you pay for repairs and maintenance yourself. The full arrangement is in the rental conditions.
What it costs
Per month, depending on instrument and quality class. The exact amount for your size and class is in the price table on the instrument page.
How it works
Choose it with your request
In the rental request you switch the package on or off. You can add it later too: we first ask you for photos of the instrument, or you bring it in for a short inspection.
It runs alongside the rental
The premium is on the same quarterly invoice as the rent and stops automatically when you return the instrument.
Damage? Come and see us
Bring the instrument to the shop or call 070-2210831. Our violin maker will repair it.
