Thomastik Spirocore strings are made of a multi-wire steel core wound with chrome steel, aluminum, silver or tungsten wire. The strings sound well balanced, both when bowed and pizzicato and give a good response. 

The string sets are composed as follows:

• E string with aluminum winding;
• A, D, and G strings with chrome winding;
• All strings are fitted with a ball.

Thomastik has terminated the fabrication of small sizes. Some sets/strings are still available.
