Thomastik Spirocore viola strings are made of a multi-wire steel core wound with chrome steel, aluminium, silver or tungsten wire. The strings sound well balanced, both when bowed and pizzicato and give a good response. The various string windings can be selected in the selection box. Available in strengths medium, strong and soft.

The following strings are available;

• A string : steel core with aluminum or chrome winding;
• D string : steel core with chrome or aluminum winding;
• G string : steel core with chrome or silver winding;
• C string : steel core with silver, chrome or tungsten winding;
• Set : steel core with chrome winding (set 42cm is equipped with A string alu).

Sizes : 37cm (4/4), 39.5cm and 42cm. Thomastik has stopped producing the sizes 38m, 39.5 and 42cm. The current stock can therefore no longer be supplemented.
