The Larsen Original viola string set consists of the following strings:
- A-string made of a steel core, around which a stainless steel wire is wound;
- The C, G and D strings are made of a multi-wire nylon core, around which a silver wire is wound (C & G) or aluminium (D).
- All D, G and C strings are equipped with a ball, and the A-strings are available with both a ball and a loop.
The strings are available in medium, strong and soft string tensions (only A string).
