Larsen Tzigane® violin strings are inspired by Ravel's rhapsody for orchestra and violin "Tzigane". They have a rich and warm sound, as well as excellent focus and projection, which is ideal for violins with a clear to neutral timbre.

The string set is composed as follows:

• E-string is made of carbon steel;
• The A string is made of a multi-strand nylon core and wound with a flat aluminum wire;
• The D and G-strings ares made of a multi-strand nylon core and wound with pure silver;
• All A, D, and G strings are fitted with a ball and the E strings are available with both a ball and a loop.

The E string was also available in gold, but Larsen recently discontinued production of these strings (few pieces are still available). The A string is also available with a steel core, and the D string with silver winding (Medium and Strong).
