The Thomastik-Infeld Alphayue strings combine a competitive price with a beautiful colorful sound, direct response and good playability. These strings are excellent for improving the sound of relatively cheap instruments (as a substitute for cheap steel strings). The E string is made of a tinned steel core, the A and D string of a synthetic core wrapped with aluminum and the G string of a synthetic core wrapped with silver wire. As an option, the D string (4./4) is also available with silver winding. The ball is removable at the E-string, so that it can also be used as a loop-end (loop). Available in sizes 1/16, 1/8. 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and 4/4.
