The Devil's Trill Sonata (Violin Sonata in G minor) is a sonata for solo violin and basso continuo composed in 1730 by the Italian Baroque composer and violinist Giuseppe Tartini. The sonata consists of four movements: Larghetto, Allegro Energico, Grave, and Allegro Assai. The movement sequence "slow – fast – fast" was conceived by Tartini. The third movement, "Grave," forms the slow transition to the final movement.
