"Gold" violin strings from Pirastro are made by hand in the traditional way. They play easily and have a nice clear and warm sound. 

The set is composed as follows:

• E-string is made of steel and produces a powerful and brilliant tone, all with an easy response (with the correct bowing technique, of course!);
• The A-string has a gut core wound with aluminum;
• The D and G-strings have a gut core wound with silver wire;
• The E-string is available with both a ball and a loop; the A-string is fitted with a ball, and the D and G-strings have a knot.
