Pirastro Perpetual violin strings are Pirastro's most recent innovative product. In the range of Pirastro violin strings, the Perpetual is the violin string with the strongest sound, combined with good focus and projection. The clarity of the sound simultaneously allows for a beautiful palette of timbres and is therefore extremely suitable for the advanced musician who plays with a large dynamic range and expression.

The set consists of the following strings:

• E string : platinum (0.26mm) with removable ball;
• A string : synthetic with aluminum winding;
• D string : synthetic with silver winding;
• G string : synthetic with silver winding;
• All strings are fitted with a ball, except the E-string which has a removable ball (=loop);

In addition, the E string is also available with a diameter of 0.267 for a somewhat larger sound. The A string is also available as a steel/chrome version for a rounder/warmer sound.

In addition to the standard Perpetual set, Pirastro has recently added the Cadenza string set. The Cadenza string set has a somewhat lower string tension, so they produce a somewhat warmer sound.
