Pirastro Chorda is an authentic double bass string with a very low string tension. The string produces a nice warm bass, great dynamics and are very suitable for pizzicato playing. The set consists of sheep gut strings, of which the A and E strings are wrapped with silver-plated copper wire with a knot end. The strings are only available in medium string tension with knot end.
