The Larsen Virtuoso viola set is composed as follows:

• A string : Solid steel core with flat stainless steel winding (same string as the Larsen A Original viola string);
• D, G and C strings : Synthetic multi-filament core wound with silver wire;
• D, G and C strings are fitted with a ball, whereas the E string is available with either a ball or loop.

Also available are the new 42cm long scale Virtuoso viola strings (Medium) with ball/loop-end A string.
