Double Stopping for Violin is a contemporary method designed to teach violinists—who already have extensive experience playing in first position—how to play two-string combinations and double stops.
It achieves this through 38 exercises and 37 performance pieces spanning various musical styles. The different combinations and double stops are presented in a clear, structured manner and color-coded for easy identification.
The pieces can be performed unaccompanied, with CD accompaniment, or with a second violin part; the duets are provided as printable PDF files on the CD.
