Dogal "Vivaldi" violin strings are produced entirely by hand in Dogal's Venetian workshop. Excellent response and warm sound are the benefits offered by the use of a synthetic multiple core with a high percentage of carbon fibre, which also provides the benefit of reduced soundboard stress. Dogal Vivaldi strings are available with Soft, Medium or Strong string tension. The string set consists of the following strings:
- E string solid steel (ball-end);
- A string with synthetic multi-wire core with a flat aluminum winding;
- D string with synthetic multi-wire core with a flat aluminum winding;
- G string with a synthetic multi-wire core with a flat silver winding.
The string sets 1/4, 1/8 and 1/16 are equipped with a D string with a silver winding. This option is also available for sizes 4/4, 3/4 and 1/2.
