Warchal Amber viola strings have been developed with the aim of reproducing the sound of a gut string, but without voice instability. The set consists of W-Core®; a completely newly developed core material. See the video clip by clicking here. The string set consists of the following strings:

• A string ball-end with W-Core® core with Hydronalium winding;
• D string ball-end with W-Core® core with Hydronalium / Silver winding;
• G string ball-end with core of W-Core® with Stainless Steel / Silver winding;
• C string ball-end with core of W-Core® with Stainless steel / Silver winding;
• All D, G and C strings are fitted with a ball and the E strings are available with either a ball or a loop.

The A string is also available with a metal core with Hydronalium winding.

The strings are available for 14-15" and 15-15 3/4" violas (body length), vibrating string lengths of 36-38 and 38-40cm respectively.
