Melos Rosin is a family-run company founded in 2003 in Thessaloniki, Greece by Christos Sykiotis. A cellist and composer, Sykiotis made his first rosin in 1988 while studying cello at Fachakademie feur Musik in Germany. Melos Rosin is made by a musician for musicians.

Handmade, fresh cakes are made from Greek pine-tree resin and colophony combined with the finest ingredients, handpicked by local suppliers. Melos strives to offer pure, high-quality resin, with respect for the environment. As of 2023, Melos offers a 100% recyclable, eco-friendly, anti-pollution cork packaging.
