Thomastik-Infeld Alphayue viola strings combine a competitive price with a beautiful colorful sound, direct response and good playability. These strings are excellent for improving the sound of relatively cheap instruments (as a substitute for cheap steel strings). The set is composed as follows:

- A string : Solid carbon steel core wound with chromed wire with removable ball, so that the string can also be used as a loop-end
- D string : Synthetic core wrapped with chromed wire
- G and C string : Synthetic core wrapped with monel wire

Available in sizes 4/4, 3/4, 1/2. 1/4 and 1/8 for violas with a scale of 39, 35, 33, 30 and 27cm respectively.
