All the pieces can be played in first position and are by the great composers of the past few centuries, such as Bach, Grieg, Schubert, Brahms, Mozart, and others. The book also includes a CD with recordings by Joseph Johnson, principal cellist of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, and pianist Judit Jaimes.
