Pirastro Chorda is an authentic violin string for baroque instruments with a very low string tension. Set consists of gut strings, of which the G is wrapped with silver-plated copper wire with a knot end. The G string is also available with a copper winding and the G string is also available in the Chordaflex version (29 PM). The strings are available in the following three strengths (soft, medium and strong)

• E string: 11 1/4. 11 1/2 and 11 3/4 PM;
• A string: 14 1/4, 14 1/2 and 14 3/4 PM;
• D string: 19 1/4. 7 1/2 and 7 3/4 PM;
• G string: 15 1/2, 16 and 16 1/2 PM.
