The Pirastro Perpetual orchestra double bass string set (G/D/A/E) is the latest development from Pirastro (2019). All strings have an extremely flexible braided steel core with a high tensile strength, wound with chrome steel. The strings provide great projection and clarity across the entire sound spectrum. These strings are mainly developed for pizzicato playing, but also suitable for arco playing, where a clear and precise tone is possible over the entire sound spectrum. The G and D string are also available is the strong version.
