Louis Metz's violin method dates back to the 1950s and 1960s and is a very clear and widely used violin method, also very suitable for the somewhat older violin student. The purpose of the violin method is to provide practice and simple music making material in progressive order, for the foundation of the basic technique and the development of musicality.
