The string set is composed as follows:

• E string: carbon steel;
• A string: Synthetic multi-filament wound with precision-rolled flat aluminum wire;
• D string: Synthetic multi-filament wound with 10k gold winding;
• G string: Synthetic multi-filament wound with 10k gold winding;
• All strings have a ball, except the A string, which has a removable ball (loop).

For the new Il Cannone Gold Larsen has combined the premium quality D & G with the exclusive carbon-steel E and an A wound with precision rolled aluminium flat-wire. The A, D & G are built upon the latest and most advanced core materials yet with world-renowned exceptional quality, signed, sealed and consistently delivered by Larsen Strings.
