String information

• E-string: Slightly darker in tone than the Solo E-string.
• E-string (Solo): Highly soloistic and powerful. Brighter and more brilliant than the standard E-string. Ideal for violins with low string action.
• D-string (aluminum): Less brilliant, with a faster response. Produces a more robust and textured bow sound compared to the silver D-string.
• D-string (silver, in set): Sounds more brilliant than our alternative aluminum D-string and has a smaller diameter than the aluminum D-string.
• G-string: A wide range of tonal colors and a balanced focus. Easier to play than the Solo version.
• G-string (Solo): Offers even more tonal colors and a broader sound than the standard G-string from the set. However, it is also slightly more challenging to play. Recommended for violins with a very direct sound that require a rich palette of tonal colors.

• The Solo combination Ensures maximum projection, added color, and brilliance in the concert hall, without the set losing its fundamental warmth. This set consists of the DY01S, DY02, DY03A and the DY04B

• E string DY01: multi-layer tin-plated carbon steel (ball/loop);
• E string DY01S: multi-layer tin-plated carbon steel (ball/loop);
• A string DY02: synthetic core with aluminum winding;
• D string DY03: synthetic core with aluminum winding;

• G string DY04: synthetic core with silver winding;
