The Chorda individual violin string is a traditional, plain gut string specially designed for historical instruments.
Because historical instruments vary vastly from one another, offering a standard string is impossible. That is why we have developed strings that allow you to choose the perfect match for your specific instrument.
Core and Winding:
- Traditional, plain gut string.
- Total string length: 125 cm (49.21 inches).
- Perfect intonation: The string is polished with absolute precision over its entire length, ensuring the diameter is exactly the same everywhere. This provides the musician with the foundation for perfect purity of tone.
Chorda "Individuelle Saite" strings offer various gauges form 8 PM through 30 PM. A limited range (10 - 14PM) is standard available at bowedinstrumentsshop. Other gauges on special request.
