The D'Addario NS double bass string set is specially designed for use with an electric double bass. The set consists of the usual G, D, A and E strings, which are made of braided steel core with nickel wrapping. There are two types available, the traditional set and the contemporary set. With the last set, the string tension is somewhat lower and therefore this string produces a somewhat brighter sound.

C string is also available on special order via the contact formula.
