The D'Addario NS viola string set has been specially designed for use with an electric viola. The set consists of the usual A, D, G and C strings and a separate E string is also available. The following specifications apply:

- E string : Braided steel core with wrapping;
- A string : Braided steel core with wrapping;
- D string : Braided steel core with wrapping;
- G string : Braided steel core with wrapping.
- C string : Braided steel core with wrapping.

The strings are available in the long scale (16"+, 42cm) version (medium).
