Beautiful german cello 4/4 labeled "Wilfred Leonardt Mittenwald 1992". Wilfried Leonhardt was born in Markneukirchen in 1933. Leonhardt took over his violinmaking teacher’s and father-in-law's, Anton Dietl family business in 1968 where they now specialize in cellos. Leonhardt was trained by his father, Fritz Leonhardt who was also a maker in Mittenwald, one of the famous centers of violin making in Germany.
