At Strijkinstrumentshop.nl we know how important the quality of the instrument is. That is why we have put together a high-quality and affordable violin set for the novice/advanced viola player. All parts of this viola set have been specially selected by us and tested for quality. Stringinstrumentsshop.nl can therefore give a 2-year warranty on this set (loosening of the bottom/top/neck of the instrument, the tuning keys, tailpiece and shoulder rest)!

• Hand-built viola of the brand Gliga with Wittner tailpiece with integrated fine tuners, ebony fingerboard/tuning key skin holder. A choice can be made from 3 types of violin, namely GEMS-2, GEMS-1 and GAMA, resp. with D'Addario, Thomstik or Thomastik Dominant string set (GAMA);
• Brazilwood viola bow (GEMS models) and Carbon Fiber or "Pernbambuco" viola bow (GAMA). The viola bow has a round frog and is slightly wider compared to a violin bow;
• Sturdy viola case with carrying straps and various compartments;
• The famous Wolf Forte Secondo shoulder rest;
• Block of resin.

The viola is finely tuned in the workshop of Strijkinstrumentshop, including a new Despiau bridge (4/4 violins), cut by our violin maker. Shipping takes place in special packaging. Delivery of the instrument takes about 3-5 days due to adjustment and settling of the strings. The following sizes are available in inches, with 15 and 16" sizes usually in stock:
