*On the Way to Christmas with the Cello* is an Advent calendar featuring 24 songs for two or more cellos. Day by day, you will draw closer to Christmas through the joy of playing. Organized into four colorful series, the calendar guides you step-by-step through the Advent season. Each week begins with a canon, followed by evocative, multi-part arrangements of varying difficulty levels.

The calendar is designed to be placed easily between two players, allowing them to sit opposite each other and perform the same piece together—simply set it on a stool or table. One side displays the cello part, while the other shows the melody (with lyrics) in the treble clef. Friends and family can easily sing along or play the melody on another instrument, making the calendar a practical focal point for making music together. Furthermore, the calendar can be used year after year.
